Well, I guess it's obvious that I won't make the goal of listing 1000 gifts by Thursday. But I will keep going for a few days and see how close I get. The exercise has made me see many blessings I may have ignored otherwise. And there are many, many gifts I don't feel comfortable sharing on a public blog...plus many specifics about other people in my life. I only did individual posts on the ones that live in my home, but I could have listed our parents, my siblings, and some friends too. They are all gifts in countless ways. Now...on with the counting of the blessings!*

262. I thought Rachel was getting sick, but she is already getting better. Fever for only one night. I am really thankful for this, both for her sake and so we don't miss any family gatherings!
